Head Coach: Naia Curentino, 44
Who is Naia Curentino? She played football semiprofessionally in the Regional Leagues for a few years before calling her career quits and going all in on Misha Florentine's plan. An avid fan of the NSCF (her favorite team until Felswyr State entered the competition was University of Loyola-Istria, she's revealed in a few interviews), she's the mad scientist of the Coaching Staff. She's very animated, very forward, and very driven. Having been the mastermind to three titles, she is adamant that they’re close once again to returning to the heights of previous teams.
Offensive Coordinator: Eve "Swoosh" Moraxis, 38
A new find by Curentino, Eve "Swoosh" Moraxis is a very enthusiastic, joyful chatterbox of an Offensive Mind who is a bit of a mad scientist. Loving the usage of unorthodox formations, interesting route combinations and delayed timings that flummox opposition, Swoosh's plans have often been considered too crazy in the Chromatik media. With Curentino to help tamper her creativity, though, Felswyr State should be able to glean the useful bits and let the absolute crazy bits die. Characterized by a "swoosh" of silver-grey hair, this is not your usual Chromatik.
Defensive Coordinator: Isidora Noles, 50
With Kasen Harrowitz leaving for Richardson University, Isidora Noles stepped in as Defensive Coordinator, promoted from her Secondary Coach position. She's been highly instrumental in how the team's come together defensively. She'll be using a 3-4-4 instead of the 3-3-5, which will mean that the team will be a bit more stout through the middle. As a disciplinarian and shrewd tactician who knows her personnel by heart, the Firehawks haven't missed a beat, leading the team to a surprise title. She is the disciplinarian of the bunch, but her tough love style works with the players.
Special Teams Coordinator: Vera James, 39
A savant of trick plays and taking risks, she views every instance of special teams impacting the match as an opportunity to hit it big, and will always look for players who can do more than they are supposed to. A tricky, catty individual, she's willing to do almost anything to win.
Head Physio: Marius Benne, 43
The younger brother of Zoe "Z" Benne, the Chromatik National Football Team's physio, Marius is the more serious of the two, all business all the time. He's pretty good at his job.

Defensive Philosophy
Under Noles, the Firehawks have switched to a more traditional 3-4-4, and utilizes a coverage middle linebacker and a blitzing one on most situations. There is definitely youth all over the field, but they'll try to be aggressive, cause turnovers, and hope that they recover on the back end if that fails. The graduation of Bonsoon has led to many others stepping up, and defense will lead the way once again.

Pill is the every-down back, Schevchenko the receiving back, and Andrew Kun Wa Lee steps in as the one that can do it all as needed. This is the best group of Running Backs Staramara Tech has had in a few seasons - they'll need to make the most of it.

Mustafa Winston is a true fullback, despite what his impressive rushing totals would have you believe. Whether as a blocker, stepping in at tight end, or a runner, he's excelled. Has a decent route tree both out of the backfield and as a tight end - his coach in high school wanted to make sure he wasn't limited to just playing fullback since it's going a bit out of style these days. But he's got the power, speed, and technical mastery to excel as a back in any role or to contribute as a tight end when called upon. Tone-setting, high energy player. If Winston gets tired, he certainly doesn't show it.

Gyles can tear up the field. When the Lava need to make comebacks, they now have a slew of players that can really catch the ball. Sting is a great route runner, Xia a YAC threat with pure speed, and Derron Cinder is a jack-of-all-trades. This group remains a huge part of the Lava's arsenal.

In order for the Lava to do well, their Tight Ends will have to do well. Myst has developed to be a jump-ball catcher with reach, Daniels with great route-running skills, and Doroshenko may be the best of them all, being a truly dynamic receiver. None of these players are the best in blocking.

Mawa Bugoli is known for his power at his size, and has impressed at the national recruiting camps. He might be the biggest question mark in this class, however- the highest level of player he's blocked in an actual game is maybe a D2 EDGE rusher? Will need some time to get used to college competition before putting him on the field- it will be a bigger jump for him more so than anybody in this class. Ryan Nightwalker is the more agile counterpart that will watch Estera's blind side. Odwin and Ettena are works in progress - this is a very young group.

With the starting Guards gone, two new ones take their place. Rogoston can backpedal with the best of them, and Gorbeshev is a mountain of a player that is hard to move. Stadt is very quick for a lineman, and Lamana's potential is very high - he has great hands.

This is now Evan Rheese's line - he's great at recognizing pressure and calling out protections, along with having the poise to face down the best of nose tackles. Liam Mongoon may be a bit undersized, but makes up for it in heart; Adam Carson is a massive specimen that knows how to use all of that size.
DEFENSE
Philosophy: The Lava run a 4-3, Cover 2, with an emphasis on stopping the run and pressuring the Quarterback. They aren't the best at stopping the pass, but in an ideal game, they'll control time of possession and get at the Quarterback enough times that it limits the opposition.

Thompson has the most pure speed, Behera is a homing missile, and LeFonde a freak of nature. Add in Stang, who has a motor that does not quit, and the Lava have four foreign students that will be used in a rotational manner to constantly apply pressure. Stang and Thompson may be named starters, but all four will see even playing time.

Paul Grayson has a quick first step and William Bosfort is surprisingly agile for a defensive tackle. The additions of Jeremiah Stone - a quick learner and a brutal opponent and a stonewall against the run - along with Solomon Seyewanek, infamous for amazing quickness and speed for a 6'0, 290 pound man, will make the tackles as much a part of the ridiculous defensive line as the ends.

Aurana Mikel can blitz, she can cover, and she can make life miserable for would-be tight ends. Jefferson is a physical run stuffer who will shine in special teams, while Ayla Schröder anchors down the other edge as one that can hang in the tightest spots.

Irina Jones is gone - and with the other two not being at the level to start, the Lava went recruiting. Enter Aaron Thorne - Middle linebacker who had extreme production from the position in high school. Nose for the football, he'll rack up a lot of tackles and give you enough splash plays to provide an X factor in the middle of the defense. Lars Benny knows how to fit a stats sheet, and Andy Kim a tackling machine, but it's Thorne that has been given the keys.

Jan-Hines is more of a coverage safety, while Min is a blanket safety who knows how to take away tight ends; Cadillac is a roamer who can really take away the best player on the other side. Geoff Rogers rounds out this unit, a true ball hawk who needs to learn when to commit to the play.

Obtaining two new Corners is risky, but there's a lot of veteran depth. Chris Jefferson will lock down a side, while Surya Bibi-Stein's speed will come in handy to stick by the receivers. Marc Cielle is speedy, while Raoul Ging has enough range to cover anything thrown within three yards of him. Killian DeMeko rounds out the roster with solid tackling skills and a mean streak to boot.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Philosophy: STU special teams is all about field position and not much about scoring. This team likes to go for it on fourth and short, so they're fine playing second fiddle.
